Moratti Talks After Inter Vs Bayern Match

I can't believe it. Inter Milan 2 - 0 defeat to Bayern Munich in their homebase, Giuseppe Meazza. Here's Massimo Moratti talk about Inter chance in Europe Championship

"We have made a very bad start in Europe, unlike in the championship. But we want to do well in the Champions League," Massimo Moratti told SkyItalia after Inter's 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Giuseppe Meazza. "The sendings-off? The second one was perhaps a bit harsh, but on the whole I don't think they were scandalous. I didn't see any wrongs on the part of the referee, who let play run up to then."

Moratti continued: "In the past we have always done well in the Champions League, the only thing missing has been the final victory. But this year we have made a bad start, contrarily to the championship. Perhaps it is due to the fact that there are a few new players...

"It is always difficult when you can't break a deadlock. But I think this match was singular. If it was repeated then it would be right to talk about difficulty... The referee? He let play run, and a few players exaggerated. These things happen. I'd say that Ibra's probably wasn't a red card, but I don't think the team was nervous. They had a rather prudent attitude this evening."
